the mechanic

I am Reuben the mechanic and founder of Breakaway Workshop. I started this adventure after rediscovering my childhood love for tinkering with bicycles.

I do occasionally wipe the dust of my bike and take her for a solo spin, but it is not what I am most passionate about, I love fixing bikes more than I like to ride them.

I am always curious to see  what can be done to make a bike run and feel like it is brand new or better after a service.
